The AN-IWG-WC01/80 inductive water level staff is an integrated device composed of measuring unit, circuit conversion and transmission unit. The inductive components are positioned mechanically to detect water level changes. After digital encoding, it realizes digital graduation, sampling and signal transmission, serving as a new fully digital water level gauge.

Equipped with an RS485 interface, this device can be connected to computers, PLCs, RTUs and other display, recording and control equipment to form a complete water level measurement and control system.

A series of electrodes are arranged at equal intervals to collect water depth data. The electrodes produce different potential values in media with varying conductivity. The system judges whether each electrode is submerged according to potential changes, and calculates the actual water depth based on the number of submerged electrodes.
